Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you want to know about our hands-on Torah + engineering kits.
Torah Tinkerers is something we created to bring together two things we care deeply about: hands-on engineering and meaningful Jewish learning. Each kit is designed to help kids actually build something while also connecting to a Torah idea in a way that feels real and engaging—not just something they hear, but something they experience.
Our kits are designed for kids and families, with flexibility built in. Some children will enjoy diving in independently, while others may need a bit more guidance—and that’s part of the experience. We really see these kits as something families can enjoy together, whether that means a parent helping build or just being there for the “wow” moment.
We try very hard to include everything you’ll need inside the kit so it feels easy and exciting to start right away. Occasionally, you might need something simple from home like scissors or tape, but nothing complicated—and we’ll always make that clear ahead of time.
Not at all. One of our goals is for kids to create something they’re proud of—something they want to keep, play with, or even display. These aren’t just quick crafts; they’re real builds that are meant to last beyond the activity itself.
A lot of kits focus on either crafts or basic science. What makes Torah Tinkerers different is the combination: real engineering thinking, creativity, and a genuine connection to Torah ideas. We put a lot of thought into making sure each project feels meaningful, not forced—so kids walk away with both a cool build and a deeper understanding.
Our kits are designed by a real engineer who cares deeply about creating meaningful, creative, and well-thought-out experiences for children and families. Every project goes through careful thought and iteration to make sure it’s both fun and thoughtfully designed.
Yes—these make really special gifts, especially for kids who love to build, explore, or create. They’re also great for families who value meaningful, hands-on activities rather than just another toy.
Definitely. We’re constantly working on new ideas—seasonal kits, holiday themes, and new types of engineering builds. The goal is to keep things fresh, exciting, and something families can look forward to.
